This is because the event and movement route have already set the direction and pattern, so it knows the column and row - you just have to give it the "group" of characters to select from. However, if you're adding the sprite using the Movement Route's Change Sprite/Graphics command, it won't let you select an individual sprite from the sheet, but a whole character. png at the end It cant be seen in data base. png and and with no success I also notice when I name my sprite sheet. You may not see the entire character in the editor, because that is limited to exactly 48x48 pixels, but when you play the character will show up correctly. yes I tried again with both making my sprite sheet 12x 8 size aswell as 3x4 size and also naming it. When you add the sprite to the event using the sprite image box, it will let you select any one of these 12 (or 96) sprites. Or you could make a multi-character spritesheet of 8 of these individual sprites, in 4 columns x 2 rows (so 12 x 8 individual sprites) with no $ at the start of the filename. If your individual sprite images are 48x48, you would place 3 columns x 4 rows and put a $ at the start of the filename for a single character. Yes, what do you mean by "they appear to be too small"? Can you post a screenshot to explain this?
